Voice/Acting Training
What is "vocal technique"?
How do I create a complete performance?
How do I overcome my performance nerves?
How do I extend my range?
Why do I feel I sometimes sing off-pitch?
Craig can answer these and many other questions and problems related to performance. And above all, singing/performing should be fun!
Craig Schulman bases his instruction on his own classical training and experience performing in opera, operetta, Broadway and the concert stage. He works with the serious student to develop a healthy vocal technique, with emphasis on breath management (support) and correct placement of the voice. These basic principles become the foundation which then can be adapted to all styles of music including Broadway, classical and pop.
Students work on strengthening the voice, extending their range and beauty of tone. You will also learn how to integrate acting techniques to create a complete performance.
Accepting older teens, college students and professional students only. Craig also sees students on a short-term basis for college audition preparation and audition tune-ups.
Voice studios in Armonk, Yorktown Heights, NY, Harrison, NY and New York City.
